Hi, I’m Leonardo Garcia, the founder of Houston Curb Painting. Back in high school, I constantly asked myself, “How can I make some extra money on the side?” Little did I know, that question would lead me to start a business that has grown far beyond what I ever imagined. In 2020, during my sophomore year, my good friend Ryker suggested an idea that would change everything: curb address painting. As someone who has always been passionate about entrepreneurship, I decided to give it a try, and I haven’t looked back since. I started small, going door to door, offering my neighbors a service they didn’t even know they needed. At first, it was just me, my paint, and my brush. But as word spread, I quickly saw the potential for something bigger. I expanded through Nextdoor, Facebook, and eventually, launching my website and Google Business profile which helped me connect with a larger customer base across Houston and surrounding areas.

Over the past +5 years, I’ve had the privilege of painting all types of curb designs from custom logos, sports team emblems, and unique designs. I’ve also signed contracts with HOA communities and completed large-scale neighborhood projects for property owners across Katy and Houston, helping entire neighborhoods enhance their curb appeal with consistent high-quality work. What began as a side hustle quickly transformed into a full-time business, even as I continued my college studies. I’ve learned valuable lessons, from treating every customer like family to managing a growing business while juggling school. But perhaps most importantly, I’ve learned how to consistently deliver top-quality service. Im happy to say what started as a high school side hustle is now a thriving business, and this is just the beginning. Thanks everyone!
